Hudson Valley Farm Relief Fund

The Glynwood Center for Food and Farming has established Hudson Valley Farm Relief Fund, an emergency initiative to provide critical financial assistance to farms across eleven New York counties that have lost expected USDA funding due to the federal funding freeze. The Fund is a time-limited initiative, and is separate from Glynwood's core programming.

Fund Details:

  • Who qualifies: Operating farms (for-profit or non-profit) in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Greene, Orange, Putnam, Rensselaer, Rockland, Ulster, Sullivan, or Westchester counties that can document approved USDA grants or contracts that have been frozen

  • Application period: April 4 - April 21, 2025

  • Distribution: Every farm who applies and meets the application requirements will receive funds

Philanthropic organizations and individuals wishing to to discuss how you can help maximize the impact of this emergency response are encouraged to contact Zoraida Lopez-Diago, Glynwood’s VP of Development, Communications, and Strategic Partnerships, at zlopez-diago@glynwood.org. We welcome investments until early May, when we will disburse the funds to qualifying farms.
