Most of our USDA Certified Organic produce is sold through our 115-share CSA program*. Our members subscribe to a 24-week distribution period during which they enjoy more than 40 different varieties of our vegetables. Each share is intended to fulfill the average weekly vegetable needs of a family of four, or two vegetarian adults. All share items are grown on-site at Glynwood by our dedicated crew of farmers and apprentices.
We offer two share options for members: a Full Share with pickup every week for $720, or a Half Share with pickup every other week for $375. Our 24-week season means that each share costs approximately $30/week, which, on average, represents a 15% discount over retail prices. That means during an average growing season, a Full Share is valued at over $800, and a Half Share is over $400 (but the true value could be more or less depending on seasonal variations).
Payment in full is required when purchasing your CSA share through our online store. We also offer an installment plan dividing the full cost of a share into payments over the course of the season. Please contact our Vegetable Production Manager, Jarret Nelson, to discuss alternative payment plans.
The first pickup of the 2017 season is scheduled for Tuesday, May 30 and the final pickup will take place Friday, November 10 (exact dates subject to change depending on growing conditions).
Pickup hours at Glynwood are 3-6pm on Tuesdays or Fridays with a 24-hour grace period. We also offer a pickup option at the Garrison Café on Tuesdays between 4-6pm, and pickup outside of this window is available at Glynwood until 3pm on Wednesdays.
We also offer subsidized CSA shares through our local Philipstown Food Pantry, and we accept SNAP benefits for purchases of CSA shares and products sold at our Farm Store. Please refer anyone interested in purchasing a subsidized CSA share to Andy Reid at the Philipstown Food Pantry.

*Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a partnership between farmers and their communities. When members purchase a CSA share ahead of the growing season, they pledge their support upfront and provide the funds that are needed to plan, seed and maintain our crops throughout the season. While members share the risks of independent agriculture, they reap even greater rewards in the form of a bountiful harvest throughout the season. CSA members pick up a diverse assortment of fresh, nutritious vegetables each week or every other week, and in doing so they have the opportunity to connect with local food production and experience the changing seasons on our farm.
CSA members receive a weekly “Fresh from Glynwood” e-newsletter that includes the weekly harvest, recipe inspiration, Farm Store offerings and happenings at Glynwood.
