Lauren first joined Glynwood in December 2021 as Farmer Training Program Manager and is now our Associate Director, Farmer Training. In her work, Lauren supports a variety of farmer training efforts including Glynwood's Apprentice Program, the Hudson Valley Farm Business Incubator, and the Mid Hudson Collaborative Regional Alliance for Farmer Training (MH CRAFT). She is energized by Glynwood's mission and dedicated to ensuring that the Hudson Valley continues to be a place where farming -- and farmers -- thrive. 

Lauren has 7+ years of farming experience at farms in California and the Hudson Valley. Most recently, Lauren served as Farm Communications & CSA Director at Poughkeepsie Farm Project where she trained farm interns, improved CSA access for SNAP users, and oversaw a 500+ member CSA. 

Lauren has a BA from Brandeis University and a Certificate in Ecological Horticulture from the Center for Agroecology and Sustainable Food Systems at UC Santa Cruz. She lives in Beacon.
