Chelsea Anan (she/her)
Chelsea joined Glynwood in May 2024 as the Farmer Training Program Coordinator. In this position, Chelsea helps to support the Farmer Training Program’s initiatives including Glynwood’s Apprentice Program, the Mid Hudson Collaborative Regional Alliance for Farmer Training (CRAFT), and the Hudson Valley Farm Business Incubator. Chelsea first came to the Hudson Valley in 2018 to manage an organic veggie farm in the Catskills and fell in love with the Hudson Valley’s robust farming community and the people that sustain it.
Chelsea has 10+ years of farming and education experience at farms in Northern California, Hawaii, and the Hudson Valley. Before coming to Glynwood Chelsea was the Arts & Ecology Coordinator at the Stone Barns Center where she worked to build creative solutions for the farm's material streams through the creation of value-added products. She also worked on the greenhouse and propagation team growing produce and flowers.
Chelsea has a BS from Cal Poly Humboldt in Environmental Management & Protection with a focus in Interpretation & Education. She recently completed a year-long course in herbalism and hopes to grow this passion more. When she isn’t working, you can find her foraging or hiking with her dog and partner near her home in Garrison, NY.
